Human in the Attic occurs as 1953 thriller film directed by Hugo Fregonese. A motion-picture show, according to a novel "The Lodger" by Marie Belloc Lowndes, fictionalizes the Jack the Ripper killings.

A story requires place inside London, 1888. On the third nighttime of the Jack the Ripper killings, a human rents out an attic from either an older few around want of more income. the human, a locate pathologist, begins working on his experiments in the rooms. Helen Harley (Bavier) becomes suspicious of the human, especially whenever her niece shows an interest around him.
